Teacher & Mentor

I'm Kieran and I have been a qualified teacher since 2009 teaching in both public and private schools with students aged 11-18. I started my career in England where I taught middle school and high school math including Advanced level further mathematics and test prep for Oxford and Cambridge universities. I moved to the US in 2017 and have taught mainly PreCalculus Honours and AP Calculus AB/BC as well as some Algebra I and II.

I first got into teaching at the age of 15 when I qualified as a Trampoline Gymnastics coach and later became a national coach and judge. I have always enjoyed helping others improve their skills and achieve their potential. In college, I majored in mathematics and moved on to a graduate degree in mathematics education.

Currently, I am available for math tutoring in a range of subjects from Algebra I up to AP Calculus BC and everything in between. I also have experience with IB (international baccalaureate) standard and higher level, UK courses for KS3, GCSE, and A'Level as well as college admissions exams for Oxford and Cambridge.

I understand that every student has different needs and expectations for tutoring sessions. You may need specific help with a homework assignment, preparation for tests/quizzes, reviewing work missed due to absence from school, or maybe you want to get ahead and learn something new. We will work together to ensure you get what you need.
